Landscape Confessions

Landscape Confessions looks at and beyond the conventional dualism usually associated with landscape. The exhibition explores notions of landscape and their relationship with people through the metaphor of conversation. The landscape plays the role of a listening partner as we, the walkers, the pilgrims on the road, confess our thoughts to it, knowing that our confessions are safely preserved.

The approach shows the reciprocity of encounters between human and non-human actors, where impressions and feelings can meet. Sola experiences the landscape/nature as safe ground in the midst of cultural belonging and as a meeting point for all sentient beings.
