Entwined

In many cultures around the world, trees are entwined with human begins. They are mythological and emblematic figures present in our contemporary lives. When trying to capture them by drawing or painting is almost like taking out everything that we carry inside. Sola is borrowing roots and branches from nature and using them as a metaphor for what is going on in the vast landscape of the psyche and the psychosomatic experience of it.
